We are a year-round preschool, remaining open through the summer. During the traditional school year (August–May), we follow the Douglas County School District calendar for most holidays, breaks, and weather closures.
Heart and home Preschool is closed on the following days:
2025
• July 4 – Independence Day
• September 1 – Labor Day
• October 13–17 – Fall Break
• November 24–28 – Thanksgiving Break
• December 22–26 – Christmas Break
2026
• January 1–2 – New Year’s Holiday
• January 19 – Martin Luther King Jr. Day
• February 16 – Presidents’ Day
• March 16–20 – Spring Break
• May 25 – Memorial Day

There are 1 day, 2 day, 3 day, 4 day, and 5 day options for enrollment during the school year and tuition is due monthly.
-5 days: $1,350
-4 days: $1,120
-3 days: $870
-2 days: $600
-1 day: $300

Heart & Home Preschool now offers an extended care option from 3:30–5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
This calm, play-based wind-down includes after school snack, story time, music and movement, outdoor and open play.
Rate: $25 per day

Meet Our Aftercare Helper
Ms. Brittany
Ms. Brittany
Brittany has experience in school-based and private childcare, including two years with Douglas County School District’s before/after-school program and childcare support through churches in Denver. She is CPR and first aid certified and has worked with DCSD since 2019 supporting autistic and disabled young adults.
